Christian Benoit is an Artist and Building Designer. Clean lines, geometric forms, and modern, yet warm elements appeal to him greatly and that is reflected in his work.  

From a young age he found himself drawn to art, architecture, and design which ultimately led him to earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and architectural history with honors from the University of California, Davis.  

From the minimalist approach of Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus movement to the creative geometric configurations of Frank Lloyd Wright, the study of architecture has had a large influence on Christian’s creative process. His work combines modern drafting techniques with wood, paint, stain, and acrylics. The use of these different finishes and contrasting textures allows him to create wonderfully unique abstract wall sculptures.

Family has always been important to Christian. His favorite place to be is on the mountain, snowboarding with his four young sons. He is happily married and resides in Sagle Idaho. He finds the four seasons and all that the outdoors have to offer there to be truly inspirational in his sculptures and building designs.
